So, on August 23nd I got all 4 wisdom teeth and one impacted 12 year molar dug out of my jaw. It was the most painful experience of my life. I was thankfully under full anesthesia, but I have hypoglycemia and to me, the feeling of fainting that anesthetics give you is one of the worst things ever. I woke up an hour later, completely unable to move my face, lips, tongue, or to swallow. That was a really weird feeling... They soon pulled the IV out of my arm, which hurt and left a bruise for 2 weeks. They then plopped me in a wheel chair and into my mom's van. Everything was all blurry and but I couldn't even tell my mom I felt unwell. Trying to get out of the car, I realized I was about to pass out....then woke up on the couch after my brother and mom had carried me like a sack of potatoes into the house. 3 hours later, not the 8-12 the doctor and nurses had promised, all my anesthesia had worn off and I could feel everything... except my lower lip. So, I couldn't even drink water or eat jello, but I was reduced to curling up in the ball pressing ice to my face and crying myself to sleep because it just hurt SO FUCKING MUCH. Every time I changed the gauze, my mouth would flood with blood and the pain would come in waves that made me nauseous and unable to even sit up, despite the 7.5mg of vikadin I was prescribed every 4 hours. It turns out the doctor actually had to remove a chunk of bone with one of my molars, along with all the roots, leaving a 1 and a half inch deep hole in my lower jaw, which never full clotted (it still bleeds from time to time, even now, and still isn't fully healed.) Despite multiple calls to the doctor's office saying I was not healing, the nurse told me to wait til the following
Monday. At that point I had spent 6 days in absolutely gut wrenching pain (not even exaggerating here) when I finally went in to be seen, only half conscious because I was so drugged. The doctor took one look at me and went, "Oh honey, you have dry socket. No wonder that hurts! The marrow of your jaw bone is seriously infected." He then prescribed me 14 days of antibiotics, 4 pills a day, which pretty much made my birth control virtually obsolete...so yeah, fun mood swings and fighting a bone infection for a couple weeks, and my mouth will still randomly hurt.
To anyone who gets multiple teeth pulled and is prone to infections: MAKE THEM PRESCRIBE YOU ANTIBIOTICS BEFORE HAND AND GIVE YOU A SYRINGE TO RINSE WITH OTHERWISE YOU WILL WISH YOU WERE DEAD.
New boo! :D
So, I met this guy who's 2 and a half years older than me in Summer Institute of the Arts in 2011, and we were kind of friends. Then, the next summer we were pretty much inseparable. i could tell he really liked me, and to tell the truth I liked him too, but I forced myself to ignore it because I'd been with my boyfriend at the time for like 7 months and I thought I really loved him... We stayed good friends during the school year, and talked off and on. During that time I was realizing how terribly the guy I was with was treating me, and when he literally ruined my birthday, didn't give me a birthday, one year anniversary, or Christmas prese
Just putting this out there...
Gay guys are great kissers. Just sayin'.
Well... That was in no way pleasant.
I've decided having to break up with someone is far worse than getting dumped. My uhm... ex now I guess.. well we were dating for almost 16 months and it was pretty serious. (he's the one in my paintings and drawings). Over the past two, three, maybe four months things just... I don't know lulled. He stopped complimenting me, calling, even texting. He'd blow me off after we made plans and say "next weekend", and blow me off then too. He never even gave me a one year anniversary present....or a valentines day present...or a christmas present...or a birthday present... I tried to ignore it, but after while he didn't even talk to me when I'd com
Siccccckkk...Again...
SO, whatever I had before that nearly turned into bronchitis decided it loves me and had to come back for another round. v_v I'm rather upset about this, especially since I have to perform a lead role in a final performance for ballet, and being sick does nothing to help my already terrible coordination (I'm amazed I have an A in that class...) But, my friend James is taking me to see Les Miserables soon and although I'm going to ball my eyes out during the moving, at least I get to see him for the first time in moths.

Ok. So late comment is atrociously late, but I AM SO SORRY YOU HAD TO GO THROUGH THAT ;n; I had to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth out this summer and it was horrendous WITHOUT having dry socket so oh my goodness how you are even surviving I do not know. They should have definitely given you an antibiotic in the first place. But I hope you are doing much better now!
